The growth of simulation-based education and assessment has been exponential over the past decade. The ability to develop simulation-based education and assessment programs is a valuable skill for educators at all levels. This course is designed for those just starting out in simulation-based education. Whether you are in a state-of-the-art sim center, doing simulation on a budget or have never participated in simulation before, we will provide you with the skills to successfully execute a simulation session.

Navigating the Challenges of Simulation for Assessment
- Watch and assess a simulation encounter
- Describe pros and cons of various assessment tools
- Create a simulation-based encounter for evaluation
